AMS has maintained its commitment to quality by possessing and renewing its National Board PP, R and U stamps. AMS also possesses the State of Michigan Mechanical, Plumbing Contractor and Master Plumbers licenses and Category H Unlimited Boiler license for installations up to 300,000 lbs per hour.
AMS has set high corporate standards for mechanical construction and prides itself on being consistently recognized by Associated Builders and Contractors of Southwest Michigan for “Excellence in Construction” an award presented to AMS in 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2005 and 2006. |
AMS operates a state-of-the-art piping fabrication facility staffed by some of its 20 ASME certified welders. In this 40,000 square foot facility we support not only our own work, but undertake fabrication projects for other customers as well. Within this fully equipped facility our welders regularly perform MIG, TIG, Orbital and Computerized welding, utilizing the latest in equipment. AMS also owns a complete RotoWeld 2000 welding station one of only a few in the continental United States. The RotoWeld allows us to guarantee 100% X-ray quality welds with exceptional efficiency on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys. Our investment in the latest technology provides AMS with efficiencies beyond the normal contractor. In this facility work is reduced to CAD isometric drawings detailing the spools and orientation. Each spool is cut, machined, welded and identified to ease installation.
